About DeSean

DeSean developed a great passion and discipline to health and fitness at the early age of ten. His devotion to athletics and biomechanics grows year by year. He was a three-sport athlete in high school at Hazen High school, where he played running back in football ran track as a state-qualifying sprinter also a state competitor wrestler. He earned All-conference honours as a three-sport athlete. Desean later attended and graduated from the college of the Redwood (California) with an associate’s degree in general studies where he was a 2-year varsity football starter at defensive back. Coach D went on later to play defensive back in the Pac-12 for Washington State University.
His passions for the discipline later carried into his work/service. He was awarded the number one trainer in the nation for 24-hour fitness in 2006, 2007 and 2008
As an elite sports performance and leadership coach with 13 years of experience serving the greater Seattle area, his passion is to grow and develop student-athletes by focusing on fundamental skills instruction with an emphasis on whole child development. This includes expectations for academic and athletic excellence, leadership skills, and positive social relationships.
Desean models and leads with “The Diesel State of Mind†philosophy, emphasizing the team culture, hard work, respect academic & athletic commitment, and accountability on and off the field.
Then building it up with mental acuity, at the top, a sense of purpose and ensuring that all the levels are working optimally for peak performance under pressure
in the corporate world.
As a corporate wellness/performance coach, he helps executives maintain their ideal performance state based on the “High-Performance Pyramid†with Physical well-being as its foundation.
